Pricing

I use a company called Squarespace to do my domain registration but also to design and manage websites. The fees are as follows to get you up and running:

For Websites:

• Starts at $12 a month or $18 for a business website. These prices are for the annual subscription model

• If you pay for an annual subscription you can get one domain name for free which is a savings of about $20.00 the first year.

• Depending on the magnitude of your site it could take me anywhere from 20 hours - 60 hours to complete the site. My rates depend on the project size. My hourly rate is $200.00

• The last cost for the website usually is content pictures or videos. Depending on what you wanted to do, images usually are $10.00 an image (to avoid copyright issues) and videos range from $10.00 - $60.00 depending on what you select. I usually get all my images from Getty Images since it is built into Squarespace. If you have purchased your own photos or have professional pictures that you may have taken yourself and own outright, we can certainly use those as well.

  • Other image websites to purchase images include iStock Photo, Dremstime and DepositPhotos.

• I can also maintain the site for continued updates at a annual negotiated rate depending on what package you want to purchase.
